Brookdale Runs Away With District Quarterfinal Win Over The Roadrunners, 77-60
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues men's basketball team ran away with the win in the NJCAA North Atlantic B District quarterfinal, 77-60, against the RCSJ-Gloucester Runners.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues men's basketball team ran away with the win in the NJCAA North Atlantic B District quarterfinal, 77-60, against the RCSJ-Gloucester Runners.
The teams were tied up 36-36 at halftime until Brookdale stepped up and pulled ahead by 17 in the second half. Three Blues produced double-doubles and freshman forward, Devyn Wright-Myles, came up big to lead the pack with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Sophomore guard, Jack Zink, scored 19 points with 10 rebounds and sophomore forward, Regan Burke, also had 10 rebounds to go along with his 14 points. Sophomore guard, Bruce Gooding, added 14 points as well for the Blues victory.
The Jersey Blues will travel to play the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs in the semifinals of the District Tournament on Wednesday, February 26th, with a 7:00pm tip-off.
