Blue Bell, PA - The #4 seeded Jersey Blues saddled up and and tamed the #1 seeded, Montgomery County Community College Mustangs, in a tight 64-60 win.
Freshman center reserve, Tim Gjonballa, hit for 14 significant points as the lead scorer for the Blues, and heavily guarded, freshman guard, Kevin Mateo, contributed 12 points and five assists. Other major benefactors in the win were, freshman guard, Dan Golaszewski, with his 10 points, and sophomore forward, Allen Ozojie, gripped 12 rebounds.
Brookdale will be on the road again for the Region XIX finals and face the Community College of Philadelphia Lions (#3 seed) on Saturday, February 26th, at 2:00pm.
