Brookdale Closes Regular Season Beating Camden Cougars 72-65
Blackwood, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team finished their regular season strong with a conference win against the 19-5 Camden County College Cougars. Down 24-11 early in the first half, the Blues bounced back with a 32-29 halftime lead.

The final two minute sequence of the game consisted of a 66-64 score which was quickly changed when freshman guard, Allen Ozojie (10 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks) landed a lay-up to make it 68-64. Camden was fouled and made one of the two foul shots to pull the score to 68-65. Possesions were exchanged until sophomore guard, David Calloway, sent a tip pass to Allen Ozojie for a dunk with 11 seconds to go. In the final seconds, freshman guard, Dameire Fitch, rebounded a shot, then went back up to only be fouled. Fitch made both at the line to clinch the win, 72-65.
Sophomore forward, Tyler Hawkins, recorded a season-high 31 points along with seven rebounds, and freshman guard, Adam Kukaj added 10 points on the night.
The Brookdale Jersey Blues will head into the post season on Saturday, February 22nd, with a 17-10 record. The opponent and time has not yet been determined.
