Brookdale Beats Union County College To Remain Undefeated At 15-0

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues men added to their win column once again, beating the Union County College Owls, 105-90. Brookdale was up at the half, 52-39, then increased their lead to a steady 18 points for most of the second half. The last five minutes of the game got dicey when the Owls cut the Blue's comfortable lead down to seven. Brookdale snapped out of the funk, strong-armed Union, and bolted ahead by 15 points for the victory.

For the Blues, Sophomore guards, Zachary Olukanni and Jaimik Moore, both paced Brookdale with 22 points, with Olukanni also pulling nine rebounds. Freshman, Tarique Holmes, followed big with his 19 points, eight assists, and four steals as Freshman guard, Kenneth LaRocca, and Sophomore, Matthew Ringel added 10 points each. Sophomore, Kyle Bradshaw shouldn't go unnoticed with his eight points and matching rebounds like Ringel, with eight.

Brookdale men are to face Camden County College in search of their 16th win on Tuesday, January 16th, @ Brookdale, 7pm.
