Brookdale Men Close 2017 On A Winning Note Defeating Sussex 97-59
Newton, NJ - The Jersey Blues chalked up another win as they conquered the Sussex County College Skylanders, 97-59. Brookdale jumped out to 57-31 half time lead with Grant Goode dominating in the scoring department with 22 points. The Blues allowed the Skylanders to cut the lead to 15 points early on, until Goode went into boost mode, scoring 10 points in a row to bring them back to a solid lead.

Sophomore guard, Jaimik Moore, achieved a triple-double and finished the night with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Also contributing to the win was Freshman, Kenneth LaRocca, scoring 16 points, as Sophomore, Zachary Olukanni, punched in 15 points. Forward, Matthew Ringel, teared down 12 rebounds, adding to his 93 total on the season.
The 13-0 Brookdale Jersey Blues will start the new year and second half of the season by hosting the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College on January, 9th, at 7PM.
