Jersey Blues Men Overpower Division Two Ranked Raritan Valley In Final Stretch To Win 86-82
Lincroft, NJ - The number one ranked Lions of Raritan Valley came out strong and predominately tamed the Jersey Blues for the whole first half with a nine point lead and a half time score of 45-38. The second half took a turn for the worst for Raritan Valley when both sophomore guards Grant Goode and Jaimik Moore vamped it up for the second half.

The second half took a turn for the worst for Raritan Valley when both sophomore guards Grant Goode and Jaimik Moore vamped it up for the second half.
In the second half, the Jersey Blues got on a roll, taking a nine point lead at one point with the explosive play of both Goode and Moore. Goode hit for 25 points, ripped seven rebounds and handed out five assists, while Moore banged in 21 of his 25 points in the second half. Brookdale spread the scoring out with the two sophomore forwards Matthew Ringel and Zachary Olukanni who provided a hearty 13 and 10 points and grabbed 12 and eight rebounds each. In addition, freshman stud guard Fres Cabrera tossed in 11 points.
In the final minutes of some back and forth play, Brookdale managed to cage the Lions with an 86-82 win, bringing their record to 7-0. The Jersey Blues will be heading North to visit the Bergen Community College Bulldogs in Paramus, NJ, on Tuesday, December 5th at 7PM.
