Rochester, MN- The Brookdale men's basketball team was outplayed by the Spartans of Elgin Community College in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA national tournament, 82-53.

Rochester, MN- The Brookdale men's basketball team was outplayed by the Spartans of Elgin Community College in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA national tournament, 82-53.
The Jersey Blues started the game flat and were down at the half, 46-25. Brookdale cut the lead to nine points with about 10 minutes remaining in the game but could not get over the hump after that. Elgin kept swishing unanswered three-pointers.
Sophomore center Jordan Little led the Blues offense with 18 points and eight rebounds.
The team returns to action in the consolation bracket against Nassau Community College at noon on Friday, March 17th at UCR Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN.
