Brookdale Men’s Basketball Team Hosts Boy Scout Troup Pack 137
LINCROFT, NJ – The Brookdale Community College men's basketball team hosted Boy Scout Troup Pack 137 at its game against Sussex County College on Saturday, December 22nd.
"As a member of the team, I can speak for everyone when I say that we really enjoyed having the troop come out to support Brookdale basketball," commented freshman and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee co-chair David Rosado. "Having the young kids look up to us as role models is a great feeling and our team is full of great guys that are good examples for that. We loved having the troop come and hope they come out again."
The mini-fans participated in a "musical chairs" promotion (with a basketball twist) where all those who shared in the activities won a Blues prize pack. All scouts who attended earned a badge. In the end, Brookdale defeated Sussex, 107-56.
