Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues plowed right through, claiming victory over the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings, 19-4.
Freshman pitcher, Christian Simonsen (1-1), earned the win on the hill for the Blues in 3.0 innings and two strikeouts. Freshman center fielder, Devon Smith, and sophomore first baseman, Ryan Cole, each hit a double and supplied four RBI's. Sophomore second baseman, Nick Colbert, batted 2-for-3, punched a triple, and pushed home three RBI's.
Brookdale (31-4-1) will host the Union College Owls on Friday, April 19th, at 3:30pm.
