Brookdale Wins 1st Game In Region Final Four Over RCSJ-Cumberland
Vineland, NJ - The #3 seeded Jersey Blues baseball squad, took game one of the final four from the #2 seeded, RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes in the Region XIX/North Atlantic District Championships, 7-1.

Freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, went 3-5 to bring home four key RBI's, including a homer and a double. Freshman DH, John Wade, added another two RBI's with his homerun, and freshman second baseman, Caleb Carter, slapped a double for an RBI as well. Freshman winning pitcher, Brendan Williams, hurled for 8.2 innings, with 11 strikeouts, and only one earned run.
The Blues are currently 35-18 overall, and with the win this afternoon, the Blues will travel a short distance to play #1 seed, RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in Sewell, NJ, at 4:00pm.
