Mike "Santa"romita Delivers In Ninth Inning For Win Over Monroe College
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore left-handed pitcher Andrew Cimmino recorded the win in relief, throwing for three and a half innings and giving up only one hit. Cimmino also tallied three strikeouts as the Jersey Blues defeated the Mustangs of Monroe College, 7-6.

Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore left-handed pitcher Andrew Cimmino recorded the win in relief, throwing for three and a half innings and giving up only one hit. Cimmino also tallied three strikeouts as the Jersey Blues defeated the Mustangs of Monroe College, 7-6.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita delivered the game winning single. Santaromita went 3-5 on the day and posted three RBI's.
Sophomore third baseman Mike Russell notched one double as sophomore first baseman Jake Buser and freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo contributed one hit and one RBI apiece. Sophomore catcher Joe Rotelli added the sac-fly RBI in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the game for Brookdale.
With the win, the team improves their overall record to 27-8 and will next travel down to Atlantic Cape Community College on Wednesday, April 19th for a two-game stint starting at 2:00pm.
