Brookdale Defeats Union Owls In Conference Action
Cranford, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team defeated the Owls of Union County College, 8-6 in conference action. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Pat Knight threw for eight innings and recorded the win. Knight struck out 14 batters and allowed six runs. Freshman Kyle Malloy pitched in relief and earned the save.

Sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita went 3-3 at bat. Santaromita notched three scored runs, two RBI's and two triples. Sophomore third baseman Mike Russell tallied three RBI's and one double as freshman outfielder Nicholas Minter posted three hits and knocked in three RBI's.
The team improves their overall record to 25-4 and returns home to face the Vikings of Mercer County Community College on Wednesday, April 12th for a 3:30pm start time.
