Red Bank, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon, 8-3 and 11-6. In game one, freshman right-handed pitcher Joe DeCelie threw for the win. DeCelie struck out seven batters and allowed only five hits.

Red Bank, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon, 8-3 and 11-6. In game one, freshman right-handed pitcher Joe DeCelie threw for the win. DeCelie struck out seven batters and allowed only five hits.
Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney sparked the Blues offense with a triple and two RBI's while sophomore shortstop Spencer Young recorded a double and an RBI.
In game two, sophomore shortstop Luis Hidalgo collected a double and triple while freshman catcher Nick Blaney smashed two doubles and knocked in three runs.
The team returns to action on Tuesday, March 24th at Ocean County College.
